Challenge Employment & Training Nominated for 2026 Ipswich Region Business Excellence Awards

Challenge Employment & Training is proud to announce our nomination for the 2026 Ipswich Region Business Excellence Awards, a recognition that highlights our ongoing commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening the local community through inclusive employment and training opportunities.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Challenge Employment & Training has long been dedicated to supporting people from diverse backgrounds to build practical skills, grow in confidence, and access meaningful employment pathways. This nomination reflects not only the impact of our programs, but also the dedication of our staff, participants, and community partners who contribute to our success every day.

Why Challenge Employment & Training Exists

For many individuals, barriers to employment can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s a lack of experience, confidence, or access to the right training, these challenges can prevent people from reaching their full potential. We work to bridge that gap by offering tailored programs, hands-on learning experiences, and ongoing support designed to meet people where they are and help them move forward.

Over the past year, we have continued to expand our reach across South East QLD and strengthen our services, helping more people gain the skills needed to enter or re-enter the workforce. From accredited training programs to employment readiness workshops, the focus remains on creating real opportunities that lead to sustainable outcomes.

Regions we currently serve;

Why we’re Excited about being Nominated

This nomination for the Ipswich Region Business Excellence Awards is especially meaningful because it recognises not just business success, but our community impact. It highlights the importance of organisations like us that prioritise social value alongside operational excellence, and it reinforces the role that inclusive employment plays in building stronger, more connected communities.

Community support has always been at the heart of Challenge Employment & Training’s journey. We work closely with local businesses, industry partners, and community groups to create pathways that benefit both job seekers and employers. These partnerships ensure that training is relevant, opportunities are accessible, and outcomes are meaningful for everyone involved.

As part of the awards process, community members have the opportunity to show their support by submitting a nomination. Where we are Heading in the Future

Looking ahead, Challenge Employment & Training remains focused on our mission to empower individuals and strengthen the community through opportunity. The nomination serves as both a milestone and a motivation to continue growing, innovating, and supporting those who need it most.

We have only just started expanding further into South East QLD and beyond, including the Fraser Coast, Bundaberg and Mackay areas, as part of our broader growth strategy aimed at reaching more communities, building stronger local partnerships, and delivering consistent, high-quality services across regional and coastal locations while continuing to strengthen our presence, support local economies, and respond to increasing demand from customers seeking reliable and accessible solutions throughout these rapidly developing regions in the future.

The organisation extends its sincere thanks to participants, partners, and the wider community for their ongoing support. Together, they are helping us create a more inclusive future where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
