Our Leadership Team


Richard Lindner

CEO

Working as a learning and development professional for over 25 years, Richard is an experienced leader in the management and delivery of educational and workforce development projects to both small to large businesses. Richard has tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Learning and Development, and Business. He is well versed in contemporary Vocational Educational and Social policy and practice. Utilising vocational education as a primary vehicle of engagement, Richard has assisted many companies across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Richard has also developed and implemented many successful customised indigenous programs with this methodology. These programs have assisted different communities, businesses, as well as local Governments, to engage with and retain indigenous workers from the New South Wales Northern Rivers region to North Queensland Tablelands.

Jodie Donaldson

General Manager

Jodie joined us in 2019 as General Manager Employment and Training. She has brought with her a wealth of management experience both within the employment services sector and in the broader not-for-profit sector. Over the course of her career Jodie has held senior positions with large disability providers, has worked in leadership and organisational development senior positions within government owned corporation as well as commercial organisations working in a state, federal and international footprint. Jodie also has extensive experience in leadership with the retail and wholesale sales industry. Importantly, Jodie shares our Group values and ethos and is working on a number of innovation strategies to ensure the Group continues to deliver on its Mission.

Tim Nguyen

Corporate Services Manager/Chief Financial Officer

After graduating from the University of Queensland with a Commerce Degree in 2002, Tim joined Challenge Employment and Training as a Graduate Accountant. He quickly progressed and was appointed as Financial accountant in 2005. In 2010 he was promoted to Corporate Services Manager / Chief Financial Officer for the organisation. Tim is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s financial activities and operations; from short-term priorities to long term strategic forecasting. He leads the Challenge Corporate Services team for communications, information, technology and finance.

John Lowe

Industry Engagement Manager

Joining the Leadership team in 2020, John brings with him over 25 years in the commercial sector and proven drive to provide employers with the best outcomes for their employee pool moving forward, plus a serious caffeine addiction. He is able to develop candidate pipelines, offer detailed market analysis and is looking to partner with industry to sustain future market needs. He has managed his own business, has a strong consulting background and thinks that he is much better at tennis than he actually is.

Jodi Weatherall

Labour Market Manager

Jodi joined the leadership team in 2019. She is passionate about developing meaningful education and training programs. As a long standing employee of Challenge Employment and Training, Jodi brings comprehensive knowledge in the Vocational Training and Education sector.
