Souths Magpies Construction traineeship

Challenge Employment and Training and Souths Logan Magpies are partnering to deliver a Construction Traineeship. The trainees will actively be engaged in real construction projects that provide an even greater facility for the players and fans of Souths and the broader community, while gaining a Certificate I in Construction.
The program integrates NRL Workshops and a Foundational Refereeing Certificate as well as fitness and well-being, job readiness, career development and personal development. It is aimed at not only assisting people to gain sustainable employment for their future but to be great ambassadors for the Club and for the sport of Rugby League.
ABOUT THE TRAINEESHIP
This Queensland Government funded program delivers valuable skills and practical hands on experience whilst undertaking maintenance and construction projects for the Souths Logan Magpies Rugby League Club. Trainees will be employed for a 38 hour week for 18 weeks paid under the national training award.
