Ward Polglase was a participant in the recently completed Warehousing and Logistics pathway to work in Collingwood Park. He had a wealth of industry experience before starting the program but wanted to get qualified for this previous exposure.
During the program, participants are trained in picking, packing, dispatching and receiving goods, scanning and labelling goods and using inventory management systems. The practical parts of our warehousing work pathway programs are delivered in a simulated, working warehouse at our Collingwood Park campus.
Ward finished the program with Challenge last Friday, and is starting his TAE (Trainer and Assessor) qualification today! Ward said that he felt “very inspired” through doing the program and as a result, has decided to go for his TAE.
Ward told us on Friday that “Triffon was a very inspirational trainer. He actually convinced me to change my career focus and look at becoming a trainer; which I intend to do as of next week.”
What a great result for Ward, and a testament to the amazing work that Triffon continues to do training our Warehousing and Logistics participants.
Challenge wishes you the best of luck in your future Ward!
