Community Work Programs

Challenge Employment and Training operates Community Work Coordinator (CWC) Programs at Ipswich, Brisbane North and Brisbane South West. As a CWC we facilitate Work for the Dole projects through sponsors and in our own right.

Work for the Dole provides valuable work experience that improves employability and is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Commonwealth through the Department of Employment Workplace Relations.

CWC’s also provide valuable work experience for volunteers in the fields of Business, Metal Work, Retail, Community care, Hospitality, Automotive, Horticulture, and Basic Maintenance.

These programs are conducted at Challenge premises, and also at a range of Community Host Organisations.
